The updating work is concluded and we could not be happier with the results!
Alongside a calm new carpet on the stairs you find relaxing and restoring colours on the walls, they are eco-friendly as well as child and pet safe, see more info here: https://www.lick.com/uk/content/sustainability
The old blinds are out and new curtains open up the views over the patio and into nature. They are made from 40 recycled 0.5l PET bottles. Using waste as a resource brings us one step closer to a more sustainable future (IKEA).

As this year and our 4th year in business comes to an end, just a word to say that Christmas and New Year are fully booked and our calendar for 2024 starts to fill up. Don't hang around with your booking to get your dates to stay with us.

More excitingly, early 2024 we do some updating of the chalet with help by a few local trades like Forsyth Painting & Decorating, Highland Fox Interior and North Floors all based in Nairn! All to be revealed in February- so stay tuned!!

Betula Chalet was granted its Full Short Term Let Licence from the Highland Council.
Full Licence Number: HI-60037-F
This means you can book your stay with confidence for dates beyond 01.10.2023!!!

After the Green Tourism Award we have also joined the VisitScotland Quality Assurance Scheme. This month a lovely assessor came to visit and we are happy to announce the result:
3 stars overall!!
With Exterior, Bedrooms and Kitchen achieving 3 stars, Management Efficiency, Public Area and Bathroom scoring 4 stars and Cleanness scoring a fantastic 5 stars.

Furthermore we are very happy and relieved to say that our Short Term Let Licence, needed in Scotland to trait after October 2023, is well underway and should be issues in the next couple of weeks!

Betula Chalet got its first ever award: the Green Tourism Award in Bronze!!!
Green Tourism stands for sustainable tourism and being 'green' by caring for the environment and run a small business in a responsible and sustainable way has always been high on Betula's agenda. So here it is, green on white and we are very proud to have done yet another step on our journey.

It has been a while since the last update- it's because we have been incredibly busy with Betula over the summer!
Since reopening after the second lockdown we have been fully booked until early November. What a summer it was, thanks to all of you for your staycations in amazing Scotland!

We have very few availabilities in November this year and the calendar is slowly filling for 2022. So don't wait and book your favourite time of year with us. We can't wait to welcome you and share this beautiful part of the world with you.

Covid- 19
Das Corona Virus hat uns leider gezwungen Betula Chalet vorübergehend zu schließen.
Jedoch konnten wir am 15.7.2020 wieder Gäste empfangen.
Wir haben ein 3 Tages Fenster zwischen Gästen eingeführt sowie unser Reinigungs-schema angepasst.
Sommer 2020
Ein Hauch von Luxus hat Einzug gehalten in Betula Chalet mit den lokalen Produkten von "The Highland Soap Company".
Diese Produkte sind nicht nur aus der Gegend und organisch, wir füllen die Behälter aus Nachfüllkanistern auf um Plastikmüll zu reduzieren.
